Guide 4 Next

Aagaz Samajik Vikas Sansthan is thrilled to announce the launch of our next series of programs designed to provide comprehensive career guidance for school and college students, ensuring they build their careers on the right path. Recognizing the critical role of career guidance in shaping the futures of young individuals, our upcoming initiatives are meticulously crafted to address the diverse needs of students at different stages of their academic journey. The programs will kick off with a series of interactive workshops in local schools and colleges, focusing on self-assessment and exploration of various career options. These workshops will include activities like aptitude tests, personality assessments, and interest inventories to help students gain a deeper understanding of their strengths and preferences.

In India, a large number of students fail to access the benefits of government and private educational schemes such as scholarships, fellowships, and the Right to Education Act (RTE) due to lack of awareness, financial barriers, and absence of proper career guidance. According to the ASER Report 2023, more than 60% of rural students drop out before reaching higher education, with lack of guidance and economic support being one of the major reasons.

To address this gap, Aagaz EdTech Foundation launched the Guide4Next Project, an initiative designed to ensure that accurate information about educational opportunities reaches students in government schools, low-income private schools, and remote areas. The project not only spreads awareness about available schemes but also conducts Career Guidance Programmes and Counselling Sessions, enabling students to make informed decisions about their future.

So far, Aagaz has successfully organized 50+ sessions across schools, impacting more than 5,000 students. The model focuses on delivering career guidance sessions directly in schools, where students receive information about scholarships, fellowships, and different academic pathways. Interested students are then invited to the Aagaz Learning Centre for in-depth career counselling and personalized guidance.

Through Guide4Next, Aagaz is bridging the information and opportunity gap, empowering students from underserved communities to access better educational and career opportunities.
